Absinthe was born in 1980 in Knox County and had a fairly blessed and sheltered childhood. Growing up in an upper class environment, she naturally wanted for nothing. She was smart, witty, beautiful and utterly vain. Those qualities pleased her parents exceedingly. Every blessing has a downside and hers was the seperation from her folks. They were powerfully driven Socialites and rarely had time for her. Life was a swirl of smart parties, ass kissing and simpering smiles. Being the dutiful daughter, she attended College and graduated well. Her reward to herself was a tour of the Countries hottest dance clubs. She had always nurtured an all consuming passion for dance. After her tour she returned home at her parents request and fell back into Knoxvilles political and social web. How her parents delighted in treating her as a living doll! A chess piece to be used to gain favor among the elite. She soon grew weary of these ridiculous social functions. Sitting in the courtyard beneath the party lights she first beheld and got to know Gabriel. What a Man! Never had she observed such beauty, poise and grace in anyone. (Besides herself!) She frowned to herself as a momentary pang of jealousy washed over her. By the end of the night she was fully smitten enough to take a nighttime stroll with him. She was embraced that night and moved into his Knoxville home. She attended fewer and fewer of her parents’ parties as she was schooled in her new unlife. They hardly noticed. Gabriel shared her love of music and knew all the best places to dance. One in particular was a club called HottRods. He told her of Elysium and she was both scared and excited to meet her fellow Kindred. But meet them she would. In August of 2012 she attended for the first time. Upon returning home that night she beheld her world consumed in flames. The fire was swift and left few things untouched. She could only weep softly as nearly everything she held dear fell to the hungry maw of those fiery tongues. Why? And where was Gabriel? He had oddly not attended Elysium that night. Panicked, she fled into the wilderness to seek shelter from the comming sun. She would return tomorrow night to pick through the cinders. Gabriel had taught her enough survival skills to be secure out in the open. As she ran she continued to brood on the fate of her mentor. She is still brooding.
